The product sample I recieved was coated with gesso. The product I recieved (x500) had no gesso. The product looks good, but with no gesso, it doesn't handle well with paint. I can't use it with confidence. Delivery took much longer than I'd hoped and all in, from initial conversation to delivered product, it was about 5 months. This is not a complicated product and the fact the paper is not coated with gesso means I will struggle to sell them. I had hoped to sell these and order more, but I think I need to write these off and start again. The paper advertised is actually card that is coated, shiney and not suited for painting like ordinary sketchbook paper. Trying to track the delivery was hard. I was often told someone would get back to me and then didn't. I was told the delivery had been shipped but hadn't.
